Generation Jones
A number of people remember the Baby Boomers and Generation X, citizens born among the dates of 1966 to 1976, but what people don’t realize is that there is another generation in between. Generation Jones is usually mistaken to be part of the Boomer’s generation because of the similar high birth rates. GenJonesers were born within the dates 1954 to 1965. Although Jonesers are thought to be Boomers, they both have very distinct personalities.
Jonesers are more realistic than Boomers, who are more visionary. Jonesers have taken up ⅔ of the political and business power in not only America, but in other countries also. Presently, generally Jonesers are presidents and prime ministers who are making huge differences and are redefining around the world responsibilities. President Barack Obama was born in 1961 and states,
“I identify with this generation between the Baby Boomers and Generation- X. My mother was a Baby Boomer, and I’m part of the Generation Jones.”
“...historically been the lost generation that has been identified between Baby Boomers and Gen Xers...”
|
“...the claim is that Baby Boomers were more idealistic and that Generation Jonesers are more realistic...”
